The Great Wave

A big change is coming It's time for us to wake up The power and the force of nature Is far greater than we will EVER be. We only exist by it's grace Even our biggest aspirations are limited By it's existence When we die, it will live on Either way The Great Wave is coming It will either be nature ridding itself, of us Or it will be us, ridding ourselves of our worst The Great Wave is coming Ah... The Great Wave Ah... The Great Wave I like to think it will be the later That goodness will prevail That we will concede and respect That we will change for the better But I've almost lost hope Said "Fuck it" and joined the worst Decided to party it up until the party is over Until we all burn while we dance Ah... The Great Wave Ah... The Great Wave But I'll tell you this I won't give in, until my last breath I won't give in, it's not in my NATURE I am, because it gave birth to me I am a child of it All I know and have seen, I owe to it I will bow out in utter respect Because that is the least that I can do.
